At a young age, he began participating in sporting activities, and he soon discovered that these pursuits provided him with opportunities to cultivate skills useful in other aspects of his life. Galloway developed the ability to persevere through challenging times and remain true to himself while contributing to a larger team by participating in sporting activities. Being a part of a team in a competitive sport requires you to buy into the overall mission and accept direction without making a fuss. On the field, however, players from any team can make split-second judgments. In a high-stakes circumstance, taking the time to consider both the potential outcomes of success and those of failure helped him develop strong decision-making skills.
